Austin Cooper graduated from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law and was called to the bar in August 2024. He joined Scott & Beaven Law Office in January 2026 and practices exclusively in the area of criminal defence.  His practice includes representing individuals in both the trial courts and appellate courts.

Prior to joining Scott & Beaven Office, Austin gained considerable experience acting on a wide range of Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act matters.  He acted as counsel of record and alongside respected senior defence counsel.  Those experiences included homicides, drug trafficking matters, firearm offences, sexual assaults and other serious assaults, driving offences, domestic violence matters, and more.  Austin has appeared before all levels of court in Saskatchewan, and before the provincial courts in Alberta and British Columbia.
