Maya Scott

Maya Scott grew up in Caswell Hill and has worked at Scott & Beaven Law Office since 2006.  She is not only dedicated to providing high level legal services but also fostering positive change within the community.  Maya enjoys volunteering in ways that will improve the community and lives of people who live here.

As an experienced and dedicated lawyer, Maya provides exceptional legal representation with a focus on Wills and Estates, Real Estate, and Assisted Reproduction Agreements.  With 20 years of experience, Maya has developed a reputation for delivering client-focused solutions and achieving successful outcomes in complex legal matters.

Maya is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and the University of British Columbia.   Outside of work, she is passionate about reading, pinball, and travel.  Maya has also acted as an advocate in alternative dispute matters, including academic misconduct and Indian Residential School hearings.  She completed the National Introductory Arbitration Course with ADRIC and frequently acts as a hearing officer for the Office of Residential Tenancies.
